Representatives of the university community

These are the sections of the different participatory bodies at the UOC. Access them to make a proposal or debate any aspect of your studies or University life in general.

Representatives

This is the university community’s highest representative body. It includes those members stipulated in the UOC’s Organizational and Operational Regulations and is chaired by the president. Academic staff hold a majority of the places.

Its functions are to express opinions on issues affecting the University and propose initiatives deemed appropriate; to debate the University’s strategic directions and aims; to debate those aspects that affect the professional careers of the academic and administrative staff; to have a voice in the selection of presidents, and to deal with any issues raised by the president, Governing Council or Executive Board.

University Council

It is the students' highest representative, consultative and advisory body. Student representatives from all the course committees sit on it.

The Student Council is the channel for expressing students' aspirations,requests and proposals, and its function is to promote, coordinate and defend their concerns, rights and interests.

Student Council

Their function is to channel student participation in the routine functioning of the courses. Access the page of your faculty's committee and send the representatives your proposals. They will be in charge of bringing your requests to the attention of the pertinent bodies.
