The Association for Welfare and Development, ABD Group is a non-profit organization that has been working for over 40 years to reduce social and health-related inequalities and vulnerability.
Through a wide network of services and programs, it operates in various areas of social action, such as support for drug dependence, mental health, childhood, family, gender equality, dependency, aging, intellectual disability, poverty, social exclusion, and the fight against climate change.
VOLUNTEERING PROGRAM FOR THE ELDERLY
Location: Barcelona city
Active participation in projects supporting elderly people, running workshops, leading activities, offering individual/personal companionship, or providing support during outings.
Schedule: Ongoing onboarding throughout the year
ACTIVE COMMUNITY PROJECT VOLUNTEERING PROGRAM
Location: Barcelona and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat.
- Accompany job seekers in their digital literacy training. Provide support in basic Digital Skills related to job hunting.
- Lead Catalan and/or Spanish literacy workshops for job seekers.
- Support career guidance and employment services, collaborating in guiding job seekers through their employment search.

Recognition of volunteer activities
If you are enrolled on a bachelor's degree, you can apply for credit recognition for your volunteer time as long as you have participated with one of our partner organizations.
