Projecte Home Balears

Projecte Home Balears is an organization aimed at preventing, addressing, and responding to problems caused by addictions through the development of prevention and therapy programs that combine individualized and group interventions, offering an effective and tailored alternative for the affected individuals.

You can participate in the following programs:

Leisure and free time workshops: Activities related to sports, crafts, music, theater, or other hobbies proposed by the volunteer or the organization.

Attendance: Volunteers carry out this volunteering continuously, one or two days a week in activities lasting less than two hours. Regarding outings, once a week for cultural activities, excursions, and trips, usually in the morning, lasting three to four hours.

Training workshops: Workshops that help improve users’ skills and promote their social and labor reintegration. Mainly basic computing, English, reading comprehension, or mathematics workshops.

Accompaniments: Accompanying residents of the center to run errands outside the facility (medical visits and administrative procedures).

Requirements: Over 25 years old and holding a driving license with at least 3 years of seniority.

Attendance: Volunteers carry out this volunteering on an occasional basis.

Recognition of volunteer activities

If you are enrolled on a bachelor's degree, you can apply for credit recognition for your volunteer time as long as you have participated with one of our partner organizations.
