Mentora Program: We’re still studying!
The Mentora Program, in partnership with organizations, secondary schools, local governments, and other educational agents, is looking for volunteers from the UOC community across Catalonia who are willing to support a teenager (in 3rd or 4th year of ESO or the first year of post-compulsory education—either Baccalaureate or a mid-level vocational course).
Weekly mentoring sessions involve doing activities and having conversations with the student to help boost their motivation, reflection, and academic expectations, and encourage them to stay in school. Volunteers must commit to the full duration of the project (one school year, with a minimum of 20 sessions, and up to three consecutive years). Participation requires a minimum of 50 hours, including mandatory initial training.
