The Inclusion and Well-Being Service provides support to make your experience at the UOC as fulfilling as possible. A team of inclusion and health psychology professionals is available to offer you both educational and emotional support. Our work focuses on these two key areas:
Inclusion: resources and adjustments
In terms of inclusion, we accommodate the diverse needs of students throughout their academic journey to help them reach their full potential.
Seeking to support you throughout your learning process, the UOC has a broad outlook. We want to understand your situation and any barriers you may face, and will offer you advice and personalized adjustments. We are committed to guiding our academic community to foster a university that adapts to your needs.
This includes curricular adaptations and adjustments for students who have accredited:

You can request the following adjustments or adaptations:
Adjustments in classroom dynamics to adapt academic activity to your needs. This request must be renewed every semester. The deadline to apply is 15 April.

We adapt final tests so that you can be assessed on equal terms and only have to focus on demonstrating what you know.

if you attend an in-person event, simply indicate your needs (mobility, communication or otherwise) on the registration form and the organizing team will ensure you obtain the necessary support
if you're a student on an official programme and have a disability level of 33% or more, you're entitled to discounts on enrolment and in certain procedures. Furthermore, 5% of places on bachelor's and university master's degrees are reserved for students in your situation.

We offer a personalized career guidance service for people with disabilities or specific educational needs to support them in their job search and professional development.

Well-being: Psychological Help Service
We provide free support for any situation or source of distress that negatively impacts your academic performance or university experience:
- Adaptation problems: difficulties adjusting to a new location, academic format, job or family situation.
- Problems with daily routines: disrupted sleep patterns, difficulty sleeping or changes in appetite or eating habits.
- Emotional reactions to:
- Academic activity: exam anxiety or academic stress.
- Stressful life events: health problems, life changes, grief or relationship problems that prevent students from focusing on their academic activity.
