Competitive athlete support programme
If you're a competing athlete and member of one of the following organizations that have signed a collaboration agreement with the UOC, you could benefit from this programme.

- AJFSF - Asociación de Jugadoras de Fútbol Sala Femenino

- RCD Espanyol de Barcelona
- Club Natació Terrassa
The programme offers support to students who are also competing athletes, providing the necessary assistance with academic matters that may be affected by their sporting commitments.
Students who take part in the programme benefit from various academic accommodations and have an extra support tutor in addition to the one already assigned to them for their studies.
Competing athletes who are members of a collaborating organizations get a 10% discount on their enrolment fee. To get this discount, ask your organization for the code.
Bear in mind that you may be asked to provide documentary proof of your association with the organization.
This discount applies to the fee for learning support services and the cost of learning resources and software for the courses enrolled. If you enrol on courses without learning resources or software (for example, in the case of credit recognition or when the course had previously been cancelled), you will only see the discount applied to the fee for learning support services.
You may be entitled to:
- Flexibility for changes to your personal test schedule. If you're unable to take the test at a certain time due to sporting commitments, you can request a change to your schedule by going to Procedures / Adaptations to final tests for special needs
- The right to take the final tests the following semester, at no additional cost, i you are unable to attend is not possible the same semester.
You will be assigned an additional tutor who will advise you on ways to successfully combine your academic and sporting activities. In addition, these tutors will:
- Advise you regarding adaptations and procedures that can help you to meet all your commitments, both academic and sporting.
- Offer guidance regarding administrative processes relating to occupational changes such as those experienced at the end of a career competing in a sport, and any other non-academic issues that may arise.
