Support for temporary or unforeseen situations

You can request this type of support if you have a temporary situation that affects your ability to follow the teaching or assessments, with the corresponding official documentation.

This includes, among others:

• recent accidents or injuries
• hospitalizations or specific medical procedures
• competitive athletes with temporary disruptions to the academic calendar
• incarcerated students
• other unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from keeping up with your usual pace

These situations are handled through the Help Service and are processed in conjunction with your faculty, so that your case can be assessed and the most appropriate support measures determined.

The measures may include temporary flexibility or other specific adjustments, always depending on the situation and the academic activities affected.

To assess your request, you must provide documentation that proves your temporary situation, such as medical reports, official certificates or documents issued by the relevant authorities.

You can submit your request as soon as the situation arises that prevents you from continuing your academic activities normally.

Keep in mind that the sooner you submit your request, the easier it will be to implement the necessary support measures.
